There's been a bit of a break in the activity on this blog, and I'm hoping to get the ball rolling again!
My name is Jen, and I am an adoption counselor at Adoptions Together in Silver Spring, MD. As you may have seen when we first tried to get this blog going, we want to create a space where people can share their experiences with adoption. We are especially looking for input from birth parents or anyone who is thinking about making an adoption plan, wherever you are or whenever you made your plan. My hope is that we can learn from and support each other.
I will be monitoring this site and making postings, and I will share some of my experiences as well as resources including literature, movies, poems, etc. that I find about adoption. But I need your help! I envision this as a place of sharing, particularly about the birth parent experience, and I'm sure no one wants to read my ramblings everyday - we all want to hear from you.

And please make lots of comments so we can all get feedback. This is my first time blogging so you may need to bare with me. If I breach some etiquette, just gently let me know. I'm always open to suggestions for changing and improving the site as well.
